Our Founders

Reginald & Danielle
Samuel

Reginald and Danielle Samuel, the founders of TagTeam Tutoring, bring a wealth of academic excellence as well as a proven record of student success. They began teaching Mathematics in the inner-city of Dallas, Texas in the late 1990’s to early 2000’s. It was this experience that provided them with the insight that they enjoyed and excelled at tutoring. While teaching together in the Dallas Independent School District (DISD), Reginald and Danielle informally began tutoring students. During the mid to late 2000’s as

Mathematics Instructional Coaches, they began to hone their skills by taking a more active role in preparing teachers to instruct and tutor students. This provided them with incredible insight into the specific course work at multiple grade level as they worked hand in hand with the math instructors preparing the students for the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills course work and exams.

Reginald has been an educator since 2001, gaining experience in teaching and administration with Dallas Independent School District (DISD). He received a Bachelor of Arts from Paul Quinn College and a Master of Education Administration from Prairie View A&M University. He is a member of Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Danielle has been an educator since 1999, gaining experience in teaching and administration with Dallas Independent School District (DISD) and A. W. Brown Leadership Academy. She received a Bachelor of Science in Math from Prairie View A&M University and a Master of Art in Mathematics Teaching M.A. M. T. from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is a member of Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Reginald and Danielle are the proud parents of two sons, Reginald and Ryan. In their spare time, they volunteer with Line Drive Baseball Club.
